Comfortable. Convenient. Clear.
Traditional metal braces are cumbersome, inconvenient, and even embarrassing for many patients. We have the solutions for you if you’re looking for a way to straighten your teeth without needing traditional braces. At Broadway Dental, our cosmetic dentist, Dr. Kneib, is proud to offer invisible aligners as an alternative. Invisible aligners are soft, clear trays that gradually shift your teeth into place. They are easy to remove and clean, offering you a perfect smile without any difficulty.
Our Clear Aligner Treatments
At Broadway Dental, we offer two different brands of aligner treatments. During your initial consultation, our dentist will perform a thorough dental examination to help determine which method will best suit your needs.
SureSmile®
SureSmile® clear aligners are an orthodontic treatment that works to straighten your teeth with custom-fit, removable clear aligners gradually. After Dr. Kneib digitally scans your teeth, he sends the scans to the SureSmile® Digital Lab to create a one-of-a-kind treatment plan that enables your aligners to move your teeth.
Invisalign®
Invisalign® is easy to care for, comfortable, and faster than traditional braces. While braces typically take at least two years to complete, Invisalign treatment takes around 12 to 18 months, depending on your dental needs.
Benefits of Aligners
Easy Oral Hygiene
With SureSmile and Invisalign, you’ll simply remove your aligners to brush and floss your teeth. It allows you to maintain excellent oral hygiene throughout your entire treatment without worrying about dirtying your aligners.
Invisible
Clear aligner trays are completely transparent, making them nearly impossible to notice while wearing them.
Comfortable
The thin, flexible material of your aligners won’t irritate the soft tissue of your mouth the way traditional metal braces can.
No Dietary Restrictions
Metal braces require you to adjust your diet to protect them from damage and avoid getting food caught between brackets and wires. With clear aligners, you can remove your trays before eating and enjoy all your favorite foods.
Frequently Asked Questions
Using special cleaning tablets, the best way to clean your aligners is by brushing and rinsing them in lukewarm water. Remove them before each meal to keep your trays clean and without unhealthy bacteria and food debris. Before re-inserting them, brush your teeth and trays with a soft-bristled toothbrush to maintain clean trays and good oral hygiene.
Aligners are made of clear, soft plastic and molded to fit perfectly in your mouth. It reduces rubbing and irritation in your mouth. You may experience some discomfort when you first wear your new set of aligners, but they just take some getting used to wearing. Much like traditional braces, your teeth will be shifting, which may cause some soreness. The discomfort should only last for a few days as your teeth move into their correct place.
