Choose Dental Implants for a Stable, Long-Lasting Tooth Replacement
Missing teeth can dramatically affect your everyday life. It can be challenging to eat, speak and even smile confidently, not to mention the consequences to your health like a restricted diet, jaw bone deterioration, and a shifting bite. At Broadway Dentistry, our Broadway dentist offers dental implants as a simple, effective way to replace lost teeth and support your facial structure.

What Are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are titanium fixtures inserted into your jawbone that serve as a stable solution to tooth loss. Unlike other restorations, dental implants actively stimulate your jaw to prevent bone loss and deterioration. Since these fixtures naturally fuse with your jawbone, your implant restoration will never shift or come loose.
Topped with a dental crown, or other custom restoration, dental implants provide your smile with a durable tooth replacement that blends seamlessly with your surrounding teeth, restoring its appearance and functionality.
Our Dental Implant Services
Single-tooth Implants
A single-tooth implant does not involve treating the surrounding teeth. This stand-alone restoration only replaces the missing tooth from root to crown. However, while it may not treat the neighboring teeth, single implants very much support them. A missing tooth can allow other teeth to shift out of place, but an implant keeps them in their place and stimulates the jaw just like the root of a natural tooth.
All-On-4 and All-On-6 Implants
All-on-4 and All-on-6 dental implants replace an entire set of teeth in either jaw. This restoration doesn’t require a single implant for every missing tooth, as the dentures are secured with either 4 or 6 strategically-placed implants.
Immediate Implants
Immediate dental implants are a durable, natural-looking tooth replacement option that will allow you to smile with confidence as soon as you leave our Broadway office. Traditionally, you’d have to wait months after the implant fixtures are placed before you can receive your natural-looking crowns. But with immediate same-day implants, we’ll place a temporary restoration until they’ve healed and are ready for your new permanent teeth.
Frequently Asked Questions
Dental implants are generally regarded as being medically necessary due to their function of allowing you to eat, as well as supporting the surrounding teeth and facial structure. This makes insurance more inclined to cover such a procedure, but every insurance plan is different. We recommend calling your insurance company to make sure an implant procedure is covered.
Getting dental implants generally takes five to eight months to complete, though this depends on factors such as the condition of your oral health or the type of implants you need. After receiving your implants, you’ll need to wait for your mouth to completely heal before receiving your custom restoration. Our dentist can provide you with a more precise treatment timeline at your consultation.
Dental implant fixtures last a lifetime, but the dental crown restoration may need replacing after 15 years. However, crowns can last up to 30 years with proper care and maintenance, which includes practicing good oral hygiene. We recommend brushing twice a day, flossing once a day, and rinsing with mouthwash between meals.
